Theaterworks Amsterdam is one of many organizations offering English Language entertainment to the Netherlands’ Dutch and intercultural citizens and visitors.  Working with professional actors and staff, young artists with professional aspirations, and a dedicated team of volunteers, we’ve earned a reputation for delivering the kind of high-quality work usually found only on professional, well-funded stages. And yet, we do so with very little financial means - times are tough all over, and especially so for English language artists living in The Netherlands.  Funny, isn’t it?  We hear English all around us on the streets of our country – in accents from near and far – but how often can we see it on stage?  Theaterworks, and other companies like us, fill an important, often overlooked niche in the Dutch cultural life.
